(NASDAQ:TDDD) Inc. today expanded its local sales, marketing and support presence into the Chinese professional graphics markets with the announcement of Max Ma as General Manager, Sales & Support, China Region. Mr. Ma has been with 3Dlabs for a number of years managing the Sales Support Team at the company’s headquarters in Sunnyvale, California. Prior to his tenure at 3Dlabs, Ma was an outstanding researcher in the Institution of Automation, at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Technologies on Image Processing and Pattern Recognition and was the principal of China Automation, Inc. Beijing a developer of real-time video products. Mr. Ma was an active member of the Chinese Association of Image and Graphics. In this new role, Mr. Ma will expand 3Dlabs’ business into Greater China, and will actively manage the relationships and provide technical support for System Integrators, OEMs, Software Developers and Media in that region.
3Dlabs is further demonstrating its commitment to serving the Chinese market by today launching a new 3Dlabs Chinese Home Page providing a comprehensive array of sales, marketing and technical support resources to promote the success of System Integrators, OEMs and Software Developers in the Chinese professional graphics market through using 3Dlabs’ Oxygen and Wildcat families of graphics accelerators. Written in Chinese, this web resource will offer detailed specs/datasheets, competitive information, the latest drivers and benchmarks, up-to-the-minute sales tools including presentations and fact sheets, and brand-building marketing materials such as logos and product photos.
