A Huntsville business leader known for his contributions toward modeling and simulation has passed away at the age of 68.
AEgis Technologies co-founder, chairman and chief technology officer William (Bill) F. Waite, who spent more than four decades working with modeling and simulation, helped found the company in 1989, and was involved in many organizations, including the Society for Modeling and Simulation International (SCS) and the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO). Waite died Saturday at his home in Lacey’s Spring.
