Artlantis 1.2.6 Welcomes Autodesk Users and Others

July 12, 2007, Paris, France - Abvent is proud to announce the release of Artlantis R and Studio 1.2.6.

From now on this latest version of the worldwide known rendering software offers a wider range of import plug-ins. With the completion of the DWF, OBJ and FBX import formats and the updated DXF, DWG and 3DS plug-ins, Artlantis 1.2.6 becomes a real gateway to most of the modelers. Users of Autodesk's products such as Autocad Architect, Revit, 3dsMax, VIZ, or Maya; as well as other software like Rhino, Cinema 4D , Lightwave, Modo, Softimage XSI, Poser can benefit of the speed and comfort of Artlantis. Models created with these 3D software are recovered with most of their elements in Artlantis : geometry, name of materials, textures, light sources and camera positions. With this major step this version broadens the possibilities for collaboration and allows communication with Artlantis for a greater variety of 3D software.

� I find that very easy and practical to import in Artlantis from VectorWorks and 3D Studio : I draw in 3D and then I work on my images under Artlantis, adding certain elements of light and textures. I realize a lot of animations too that I use to show to my clients. As I work in the show industry, I need to share my renderings and VR films with a lot of people.
