Sescoi's MyWorkPLAN Nominated for a LYON d'OR Award

7 February 2007 - Sescoi's MyWorkPLAN job management software was nominated for a LYON d'OR trophy as part of a competition which runs alongside the annual INDUSTRIE trade show. Held this year at Eurexpo in Lyon France, the show is one of the most important exhibitions in the country for the manufacturing industry.

Out of 74 entries for the awards, only 14 reached the short list of nominees, so this is a significant achievement for MyWorkPLAN in the face of stiff competition. The judges recognized the innovative nature of the MyWorkPLAN software with its ability to give users traceability of their projects and data. With the increasing sophistication of the aerospace, automotive and other industries, suppliers need to be able to provide full historical documentation for their components, moulds and tools.

MyWorkPLAN, designed for SMEs in the mechanical industry, works with existing, commonly used office software packages, such as Microsoft� Excel and Word, to provide accurate quotations, control costs, monitor production, and produce documentation. Running on a customers' existing hardware, MyWorkPLAN is uniquely easy to install and operate and its smart Analyzer tool enables CAD files to be analyzed and compared to past jobs in order to provide accurate quotations.

The 'Industrie' exhibition organizers anticipate 25,000 visitors to the show. Company owners will be able to see for themselves how MyWorkPLAN can benefit their business by helping them to increase productivity and profitability through real time measurement of business drivers. Furthermore, the traceability philosophy and features found throughout the software will enable them to meet the requirements of their most demanding customers.
