COFES 2006 Opens in Scottsdale

Premiere Event brings illumination, opportunity to CAD industry

Scottsdale, AZ April 20, 2006 -- Cyon Research Corporation, hosts of the Congress on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES), today welcomed more than 260 attendees from across the globe at the kickoff of its 7th annual industry conference.

COFES represents the meeting of the best minds of the engineering software industry, providing an intensive conference atmosphere for both private and public discussions. The yearly event gives executives, end users, CAD and PLM vendors, analysts, as well as the press a chance to address the business issues in engineering technologies.

This year's eagerly anticipated keynote speaker is Alan Cooper, author of several books, including "The Inmates are Running the Asylum." The book criticizes of the short shrift software engineers have traditionally given human-computer interfaces, and details his commentary on how computer-based products can be designed to match human intuition.
