New FileFixer for V8 Recovers Unopenable MicroStation Design Files

The newest version of FileFixer for V8 now offers Search and Repair capabilities to handle the most frequently occurring new forms of file corruption, unique to V8.

FileFixer for V8 detects and, now for the first time, handles the most frequent and serious structured storage problems, including unopenable design files and unopenable models. When FileFixer for V8 detects severely damaged internal file structure, it reads through the entire file looking for healthy pieces of the original file. The healthy pieces are recombined into a healthy V8 design file. Through this process, FileFixer can rebuild damaged model headers, which are the main cause of unopenable V8 design files and unopenable models.
