Océ Appoints Jaime Escudero General Manager of Océ México

April 11, 2006, Chicago -- Océ (Nasdaq: OCENY), a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, announced the appointment of Jaime Escudero as General Manager of Océ México. Mr. Escudero has been a member of the management team of Océ México since the company was acquired from GE Access Information Systems in January 2001.

Océ México, headquartered in México City, sells and services Océ’s wide format and high-speed production printing systems in México. The company has a direct sales and support staff that covers the entire country. The direct sales force is supplemented with a dealer network throughout México. Sample customers of the company include Telefonos de México S.A. de C.V., American Express, Carvajal S.A., Office Max Inc. and Delphi Corporation.

In this new position, Mr. Escudero will be responsible for all aspects of management of operations in México. Escudero is replacing Jorge Colin who has left the company to pursue other business interests.

“Océ Mexico has enjoyed significant growth, providing sophisticated document management solutions to a growing number of large companies in Mexico. Jaime Escudero has been instrumental in leading the sales and marketing efforts for the company,” commented Jan Dix, President of Océ-USA Holding, in making the appointment. “Mr. Escudero is one of our best performing managers. This promotion is in recognition of his success at Océ Mexico.”

Escudero joined Océ in 1991 as the High Volume Product Manager for Océ-USA in the Western Region. Since 1995, he has held a number of sales management positions covering México, Latin America, and the Caribbean. In August 2001, he became Director, International for Oce-USA Holding with a focus on the success of Océ México. Since February 2005, Escudero has been Executive Director, International for Océ North America with primary responsibility for sales and marketing of Océ Mexico. He has a B.S. degree from the University of Southern California and participated in the Océ Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in April of 2003.
