Elstead, Surrey, UK - 16 March 2006 - GlobalCAD, the design software company, has announced the release of Toolbox LT 2006, the productivity solution that adds 3D modelling and LISP support to AutoCAD LT.

Toolbox LT is designed to provide the most cost effective solution for extending the design and drafting capabilities of AutoCAD LT. Now architects and engineers can design in 3D with solids and surface modelling, generate realistic shaded renders, import and manipulate graphic images and load and run Lisp utilities and ARX applications.

Toolbox LT also provides revolutionary tools to create and manage drawing objects. Its unique object-authoring suite includes Block Manager, Hatch Manager, Linetype Wizard and Attribute Wizard. Users can instantly publish intelligent block libraries and create stunning hatch patterns and complex linetypes from existing drawing content. Toolbox LT includes hundreds of professionally drawn industry-standard hatch patterns and complex linetypes. Optional one-click drawing schedules and cost estimates are also available.

Other features include the full range of 3D Orbit commands, advanced shading including Gouraud for more realistic presentations, advanced image import, manipulation and clipping capabilities and Express Tools style layer commands including match/isolate object's layer.

Toolbox LT supports AutoCAD LT 2000-2006. The software is available from $395 for a single license. Multi-user licensing options are also available, providing network support for Novell Netware and Windows NT Server.

GlobalCAD enables design professionals to maximize productivity and performance during the design and drafting process. Architects, engineers and designers around the world turn to GlobalCAD for comprehensive, integrated solutions that help manage and streamline their design activities.
