Crteil, Paris, France - 7 March 2006 CAD Schroer France SAS, the French subsidiary of global engineering solutions provider headquartered in Germany, today announced its move to larger, easily accessible premises on the outskirts of Paris.

Founded in January 2005 as a response to growing demand for CAD Schroers MEDUSA4 design automation suite for mechanical, plant, construction and automotive engineering, and its STHENO/PRO drafting plug-in for Pro/ENGINEER, the French company quickly outgrew its premises in Montreuil.

Our clients have been very enthusiastic about the local CAD Schroer presence, explains Thierry Brault, Head of the French office. Being close to our French customer base has been extremely rewarding, both in terms of expanding existing, and building new, relationships. We have just taken on more staff, and needed larger premises with bigger training facilities for in-house seminars and events. The companys long-standing customers include engineering giants in the global transport, aerospace and architectural design arenas.

The new office is located in the Parisian suburb of Crteil, in the department of Val-de-Marne, south-east of Paris, only 12 km from Paris Notre-Dame and 7 km from the ring road. Easy access is provided by the A86 (exit Crteil Centre), as well as the Paris underground system (Crteil Prfecture stop on Mtro 8).
