Montreal, Canada - 8 Feb 2006 -- In Situ Simulation announced today the release of ISS Foresight 5.0, the Professional CAD/3D Design Tool that is bringing you to the future. ISS Foresight is easy- to-learn and integrates seamlessly in your everyday project development process. 

From adding 3D objects such as buildings, cars, lights, to moving roads, inserting trees and forests, ISS Foresight helps you create a complete 3D model that responds to changes in real-time. What's New After receiving feedback from our clients and visitors, we have made significant improvements to this version. 

Some important features include: 

Superior geo-referencing capabilities, allowing you to insert objects, billboard, trees, forest, and roads in your model with accuracy and to scale. 

An entirely re-built Help system with easy-to-follow, step-by-step tutorials and animated walk-through flash videos. 

XML format allowing you to control the file format and source of your project. 

In the coming weeks, we will also be releasing Topobuilder, which will allow you to incorporate XYZ, DEM and topographic files into Foresight and modify them in real-time.

Foresight 5.0 Bug-Detector Contest

As an initiative to download the trial version from our web site, we have launched the "Foresight 5.0 Bug-Detector Contest". We are so sure that you will be impressed by the new version that if you are able to identify 10 bugs in the software, we will give one free license.

You simply have to list the 10 items and email it to [email protected] to get the prize.  Hint: bugs can be both in the help system (e.g. missing topic in the index) or the software itself. This contest will last 2 weeks only, from February 8, 2006 till February 22, 2006.
