UGS and PLM World Merge NX, Teamcenter, Tecnomatix and Solid Edge User Conferences to Create the Industry's Largest PLM User Community

May 8-12 Conference Marks 30th Anniversary and Highlights UGS' Thought Leadership in the PLM Market

PLANO, Texas and LONG BEACH, Calif., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- UGS Corp., a leading global provider of product lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, and PLM World, the UGS user community, today announced the merger of PLM World and the Solid Edge Summit to create the industry's largest PLM user community. The merged organization will hold its first combined conference, entitled PLM University, May 8-12 in Long Beach, Calif. The event marks the 30th anniversary user group for UGS(R) technology users.

The PLM World user community brings together a diverse group of UGS PLM technology managers and users through annual national, regional and local user groups.
