Banverket Production Selects Topocad 

Solna, Sweden - 10 Jan 2006 -- The Swedish Railway (Banverket production) has decided to purchase Topocad for its surveying and field calculation from Chaos systems AB. 

Topocad is a CAD system for surveying, calculation, mapping and design. The Industrial Division of Banverket production will use Topocad mainly for the surveying, calculation work and mapping production but also for some design work. Banverket production now has 42 systems of Topocad from Chaos systems AB. Approximately 60 people will receive Topocad training during winter this year.

"We have been examining the market for a system to replace Geosecma for quite some time now and when the Swedish Railroad Administration chose Topocad it made it easier for us also to choose Topocad", says Sara Hederos, project leader for the purchase of new geodetic system.

”Chaos systems AB developed Topocad for railway specific functions and will continue to develop functions that we are asking for. We feel good and secure in our selection of Chaos systems AB and Topocad and are looking forward to our future production", Sara Hederos continues.

Delivery of software has been made under December 2005 and the training is started from January 2006.
