Schott Systeme Launch Interactive CAD/CAM Initiative

21 Dec 2005 - Trying to explain the true scope of an integrated CAD/CAM software package is far from easy without actual face to face demonstrations. However to help, software developer Schott Systeme have recently embarked on a new 'Interactive CAD/CAM Initiative' for their 'Pictures by PC' design and manufacturing solution.

Using the latest in internet video streaming technology, they are producing a number of short video demonstrations to highlight special aspects of their software such as 'Engraving and Carving Techniques', 'Conceptual Design' and 'Bitmap Vectorisation and Smoothing'.

As part of an entirely new website design, each video is in effect a short story, providing both prospective and existing customers with more CAD/CAM fantasy.

In fact the success of such video techniques is also leading to the creation of a regular newsletter based around video 'tricks and tips', as well as video sections to compliment their free elearning projects.
