SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Oct. 31, 2005 Intergraph Corporation <NASDAQ: INGR> is highlighting its Geo-Intelligence Production System (GIPS(TM)) at the GeoInt 2005 Symposium at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center.

During the symposium, Intergraph is showcasing two new products to enhance its state-of-the-art GIPS, GeoMedia Curator and GeoMedia Topographer. Part of Intergraph's comprehensive map production workflow, the products provide users with enriched data collection, integration, validation and management capabilities, which increase overall quality of geospatial data. Adding these enhancements to our proven GIPS gives geo-intelligence leaders a solid foundation on which to make better, faster decisions to protect citizens, resources and assets.

The enhanced GIPS provides users with necessary image processing functions, including orthorectification and enhanced feature collection capabilities, such as rules-based attribute population during data capture, schema conversion, post-collection validation reporting and data conflation. These capabilities allow organizations to work more efficiently, make better use of their existing data and imagery assets and reduce the overall time required to collect and manage feature data.

"Using Intergraph's GIPS, our organization is confident in knowing we have the market's leading comprehensive geographic data production solution in place," said Lt. Col. Pierre Bilodeau, commanding officer, Mapping and Charting Establishment, Canada. "The system's open and interoperable architecture allows us to share information with other agencies and customers ensuring our customers have access to the most up-to-date, accurate information for making critical decisions involving Canada's national defense and security objectives.

Preetha Pulusani, president of Intergraph's Security, Government & Infrastructure division said, "Intergraph has a long history of working with civilian and military intelligence agencies, providing them with one of the most advanced geo-intelligence map production systems available. New enhancements to the Intergraph GIPS further extend the already robust set of end-to-end map production capabilities and provide our customers with the necessary intelligence to protect our communities and critical infrastructure."
