THE INTERNATIONAL LIDAR MAPPING FORUM – ILMF2006The premier Aerial LIDAR, Terrestrial Laser Scanning and Bathymetric LIDAR event - CALL FOR PAPERS
September 2005 - The International LIDAR Mapping Forum (ILMF) is now seeking submissions for technical presentations and workshops for the ILMF2006 Annual Meeting, which will be held February 13-14, 2006 in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. Originally scheduled to be held in New Orleans, LA the venue has been moved to Denver as a result of the catastrophic events of hurricane Katrina. The ILMF has become the premier event for the Aerial LIDAR, Terrestrial Laser Scanning and Bathymetric LIDAR industry. This summit is the gathering of industry leaders, pioneers, experts from government, academia, and professionals from myriad industries looking to invest in, and benefit from, LIDAR technology and services. Workshops/Breakout Sessions - Monday, February 13, 2006 The ILMF2006 meeting will include a full day of workshops/breakout sessions and submissions are requested for the following:
Sensor Fusion: Submissions are invited regarding the fusion of LIDAR and other data, particularly digital cameras, multispectral and hyperspectral imagery, and IFSAR. The resulting products are rapidly becoming a source of value added or “intelligent” data. A brief overview of the various sensor types will also be presented. If you have additional workshop topics that you think would be of interest to attendees, please submit your ideas and the ILMF will consider these for inclusion in the workshop program. Technical Sessions - Tuesday, February 14, 2006 Submissions for Technical Sessions are invited on any subject related to LIDAR mapping, although preference will be given to submissions addressing any of the following topics or subjects:
