Leica Geosystems Launches 5-Year Warranty Program For All New Leica Laser Tracker Deliveries
Norcross, GA � August 8, 2005 � The Metrology Division of Leica Geosystems announced today the expansion of its existing line-up of Service Contracts with the introduction of the 5-year Warranty Program. This new program is applicable to all new Leica Laser Tracker system sales only. To participate in this program, the customer needs to have his system inspected and re-certified once per year, and the original manufacturer warranty is extended for one additional year, up to a total of five years. "By instituting this new Service & Support program, we are showing our confidence in the quality of the Leica Laser Trackers we manufacture,� states Dave Koster, Vice President Service & Support. �The customer has peace of mind in knowing that his system will be covered by an extended warranty for up to five years. We are creating an added value for Leica customers, making the ownership of our trackers a true five-star experience." In addition to Leica Laser Tracker systems, the 5-year Warranty Program also covers Leica T-Cam and T-Probe sold together with the tracker systems.
