Leica Geosystems Launches 5-Year Warranty Program For All New Leica Laser Tracker Deliveries

Norcross, GA � August 8, 2005 � The Metrology Division of Leica Geosystems announced today the expansion of its existing line-up of Service Contracts with the introduction of the 5-year Warranty Program. This new program is applicable to all new Leica Laser Tracker system sales only. To participate in this program, the customer needs to have his system inspected and re-certified once per year, and the original manufacturer warranty is extended for one additional year, up to a total of five years.

In addition to Leica Laser Tracker systems, the 5-year Warranty Program also covers Leica T-Cam and T-Probe sold together with the tracker systems. With this new program, Leica emphasizes the quality of the organization to support its products over the years to come. The 5-year Warranty Program is available in all markets.
