New Version of Microsoft Office Importer Can Duplicate Existing Symbology From Previously-Imported Spreadsheets

Clearwater, Florida, USA, 6 July 2005 -- Axiom, world's most experienced developer of time-saving MicroStation software solutions, announces the release of a new version of Microsoft Office Importer, the MicroStation software utility that imports huge quantities of spreadsheet and word-processing data into MicroStation with precision formatting.

Microsoft Office Importer, version 3.8, can now match the settings from an existing Microsoft Office Importer-pasted spreadsheet and apply the symbology data to new pastes. For example, let's say a user pastes a spreadsheet with very-specific symbology into a design file. Then, another co-worker gets the file and needs to import another spreadsheet, but his CAD standards require him use the same symbology. Instead of manually entering all the symbology data, he can just press the new <Match> button in the Settings dialog box, double-click on an element in the spreadsheet and the symbology of the existing paste is imported into the user's settings.
