Building Information Modeling Services Provider Adds ArchiCAD to its Product Offering

28 June 2005 - Graphisoft, Inc., the pioneer and leader in developing Virtual Building(TM) solutions, and RCMS Group, LLC (RCMS) have signed a strategic partnership agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, RCMS Group, a leader in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) professional services industry, will become a Graphisoft-authorized Center of Excellence, providing Building Information Modeling (BIM) and outsourcing services to commercial and government clients who are looking to accelerate their use of ArchiCAD on key projects.

As the demand for BIM services increases, architectural firms have expressed a need for assistance in creating Building Information Models in order to provide better customer service. Through their partnership, Graphisoft and RCMS will help ArchiCAD users meet this demand by providing them with a valuable resource as they seek to offer customers complete building models. Between 2004 and 2008, the GSA intends to create building information models for the 330 million square feet of buildings it owns, in addition to the $10.5 billion of buildings currently under construction.
