Surfware to Demonstrate TrueMill at Haas Demo Day

advertisement

Westlake Village, CA - June 21, 2005 - Surfware Inc., developer of SURFCAM CAD/CAM Systems, will demonstrate its new patent-pending TrueMill* technology at several locations around the country during the eighth annual Haas Demo Day. Demo Day eight will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 from 10a.m.- 5p.m.

TrueMill is a completely new tool path engine that provides dramatic reductions in cycle time by dynamically managing tool loads. TrueMill generates smooth, fluid tool paths that are completely free from spikes or sudden changes in tool load, leveraging the existing motion-control capabilities of CNC machine tools. Thus, machining parameters such as spindle speed, feed rate, depth-of-cut, and stepover can be used in combinations that would result in material damage or tool breakage if used with existing tool path generators.

"We are excited to be part of Demo Day eight and share this revolutionary technology with the machining community," said Domenic Lanzillotta, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Surfware.

Haas Demo Day, occurring at Haas Factory Outlet (HFO) facilities throughout North America, will feature live demonstrations on every machine in the showroom. For more information on specific locations that will be demonstrating TrueMill, contact Surfware corporate headquarters.

TrueMill, only available in SURFCAM Velocity*, will be released summer 2005.
