Moers, June 1, 2005 - CAD Schroer's latest reseller agreements with suppliers serving the Western USA, Canada, Finland, India and Israel are testament to rising global demand for productivity solutions in support of corporate Pro/ENGINEER® strategies

CAD Schroer, the engineering solutions provider known for its MEDUSA4 and STHENO/PRO software suites, has a strong European presence with offices in Germany, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. "Offering local, friendly, and technically competent advice to our customers has always been our fundamental strength," says Michael Schroer, founding Director of the company that has grown from strength to strength since its beginnings as a drafting bureau in 1986.

Its extensive reseller network, which subscribes to the same ethos, already covers much of the globe, but there is plenty of room for growth in specific countries and market niches. "Our latest partner drive focuses on suppliers to Pro/ENGINEER® customers, who recognise STHENO/PRO as an unrivalled solution", Michael continues, "This month we are pleased to welcome four new partners in key locations."

The new relationships were forged around the tactical requirements of product development companies looking for powerful and efficient drafting support for their Pro/ENGINEER strategy. "We firmly believe that Pro/ENGINEER 3D, with associative 2D, is the most effective tool for almost all new product design", explains Mark Simpson, CAD Schroer's Product Manager. "Many Pro/ENGINEER resellers now realise that STHENO/PRO - the only drafting package that runs as an integrated Pro/ENGINEER module - is the ideal solution for design tasks where 2D is the most efficient and cost effective option. The software readily replaces legacy systems that don't sit well with a company's overall product development strategy."

The new American VAR, Next Level Engineering Services, is located in Seattle, Washington and Portland, Oregon, serving a customer base in the Western United States and Canada with software systems and consultancy all around PTC®'s Pro/ENGINEER and Windchill® solutions. As a STHENO/PRO VAR, Next Level Engineering can offer its clients the perfect complement to their existing tools, and a product that is efficient, cost-effective, modern, and easy to learn.

Expanding its products' presence in Asia, CAD Schroer has also joined forces with Intercad Systems Pvt. Ltd of India. One of the leading professional software solution providers in Kerala, the company has separate divisions for software sales, training and consultancy, with offices in Cochin, Trivandrum and Coimbatore.

A new reseller in Finland joins CAD Schroer's existing Scandinavian partners, offering STHENO/PRO software and consultancy services. Econocap Software OY is part of a larger group that looks after Pro/ENGINEER customers in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.

In Israel, where CAD Schroer has a long-standing and expanding customer base, WideTech Integrated Systems LTD has recently signed up to include both the STHENO/PRO and MEDUSA4 PLM solutions in its product portfolio.

"We are very excited about the growing STHENO/PRO customer base, and look forward to working together with our new partners", Michael concludes, "No matter which corner of the globe you visit, design engineers have much in common: they need competent advice, backed by reliable, efficient, integrated tools that work the way engineers do - freeing, rather than restricting, creativity."
