ICEM Invited To Participate In Catia/PLM Forums 2005

Company will present its new CAA V5-based ICEM Shape Design software suite in Europe and Japan.

Southampton, UK. 27 May, 2005. � ICEM Ltd., the leading developer of surface modelling, surface quality analysis and design visualisation software, has announced that, following the recent strategic software development partnership agreement between it and Dassault Syst�mes, it has been invited to participate in JCF 2005 (the Japan Catia/PLM Forum) and ECF 2005 (the 9th European PLM Forum). JCF 2005 will take place at the Westin Nagoya Castle, Nagoya, Aichi Pref., Japan on 19 and 20 July, while ECF 2005 will take place from 4 � 6 October at the Frankfurt Messe in Germany.

ICEM will present ICEM Shape Design, its next-generation surface modelling, analysis and design visualisation software suite, which is developed on Dassault Syst�mes� CAA V5 product lifecycle management (PLM) software architecture. ICEM Shape Design comprises a comprehensive suite of products addressing end-to-end automotive Class-A processes, from design and analysis to reverse engineering, photo-realistic rendering and sketch tracing, all fully integrated with the Dassault Syst�mes V5 PLM environment.

Organised and hosted jointly by Dassault Syst�mes and IBM PLM Solutions, the 2005 Japan and European Catia/PLM Forums promise to be the largest software users� conferences this year covering the end-to-end PLM market in Asia and Europe respectively. With some 50 or more separate conference sessions at each Forum, the 2005 events will offer attendees a wide variety of programmes around the theme of PLM and covering development strategy, return on investment (ROI) and the latest software updates.

In addition to presenting ICEM Shape Design in the main conference, ICEM will be demonstrating its new software solution in the trade show which runs alongside the conference, where developers of software, hardware and solutions that are complimentary to Dassault Syst�mes� solutions will be demonstrating their own offerings.
