Rasterex releases RxView/RxHighlight R7.1

Oslo, Norway � May 26, 2005: Rasterex Software, a leading provider of software for viewing, printing and mark-up, today announces the release of version R7.1 of RxView and RxHighlight.

RxView allows users to view & print more than 250 different file formats (2D & 3D CAD, plot-files, PDF files, Office documents, raster images etc.), without the need to have the expensive design software accessible to the user.

RxHighlight adds advanced functions like mark-up, file conversion, batch printing, batch conversion and text search & extraction.

Version R7.1 updates the format support for seven of the most commonly used CAD formats, and provides a long list of enhancements and improvements to the software.

New features and enhancements in R7.1:

• Markup history
• Complete list of markup entities in movable window and in the workspace bar
• Print markup list and markup report
• Markup hatch for all closed entity types (ovals, rectangles), not only measure area
• Markup options on right-click context menu
• New configuration program with better control of application
• Filter properties now integrated directly in a new advanced tab under filter settings
• Measure information can be hidden for a single entity or global (all entities)
• Mouse middle button now pans like 2D
• Continuous paging using mouse wheel implemented for documents
• Locate block in Parts/Blocks list in Workspace bar
• Measure dialog changes: Now also distance and angle between last and first point
• Measure: Backspace will now undo last selected point (also for markup).
• Convert to monochrome drawing (AutoCAD to monochrome PDF), using filter setting
• Original size is now available for batch conversions
• Filter measure calibration can now be customized with user defined scaling.
• Enter key will now finish operations like measurement, draw polygons etc.
• General bug fixes and improvements
