HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 19, 2005 -Intergraph <NASDAQ: INGR> Mapping and Geospatial Solutions is showcasing its geospatial intelligence solutions at the GeoSpatial Information Normalization Journey and its Applications Day, being held today in Madrid. The event, sponsored by the Digital Geographic Information Working Group and the Multi-National Geospatial Co-Production, highlights the latest technological advances for digital cartography processing and production, geography databases, imaging processing and geospatial information distribution.

Intergraph will present its end-to-end production solution, called Geospatial Intelligence Production System(TM) (GIPS) - from image processing through data collection, product generation and dissemination. GIPS is a comprehensive environment for the collection, validation, management and exchange of feature data based on rigorous specifications, such as those defined by the United States' National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), the Digital Geographic Information Working Group (DGIWG) and the Multi-National Geospatial Co-Production Program (MGCP). Using GIPS, military and intelligence organizations can efficiently collect geospatial data in various formats with tools that ensure the end products, such as maps, digital terrain models and orthophotos, meet their intended specification. Based on an open and scaleable foundation, the interoperable solution enables collaboration and data sharing between military and civilian agencies and their contractors and customers.

"Intergraph's geospatial intelligence solutions have been helping military and intelligence professionals worldwide for more than 35 years," said Dr. Matthew Tate, Vice President, Geospatial Solutions Federal, Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions. "GIPS continues Intergraph's tradition of bundling industry experience with advanced technology based on open standards to give customers industry-leading solutions designed to help solve everyday challenges and problems."
