Air France Industries Chooses Pacelab Cabin for Cabin Configuration
BERLIN, April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Air France Industries has purchased Pacelab Cabin, the standard cabin configuration solution by PACE Aerospace Engineering and Information Technology GmbH. Managing complex and time- consuming tasks, the software will support the Air France Division in streamlining its cabin interior design process for commercial aircraft and in improving its customization services.
Pacelab Cabin will be applied in the cabin and systems engineering office in Le Bourget for conversion projects of different aircraft types including Airbus and Boeing fleets, and will help to improve response time to the customer. The software will be used both for the Air France fleet aircraft as well as for third party airline conversion projects.
Pacelab(TM) Cabin speeds up the positioning of cabin interior items, while consistently checking and assuring compliance with certification regulations and other rules or options defined by the user. Featuring an open system architecture, Pacelab(TM) Cabin provides interfaces to standard CAD software. Apart from the efficient development of cabin layouts, Pacelab(TM) Cabin also provides decision support to assess the competitiveness of different layout alternatives. The 3D visualization module enables fly-thru capability and recording of panorama and movies.
