CAD Society Meeting at NDES During National Manufacturing Week
BETHESDA, MD, March 1, 2005 � The CAD Society will hold its next meeting at the NDES conference as part of Manufacturing Week, that takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago, March 7th -10th, 2005. The actual meeting will be held in the press room at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2005. The press room is located on Level 1, Room S103B.
A number of business issues will be discussed and the floor will be opened to any thoughts and ideas from CAD Society members. We will vote on new bylaws regarding membership, vote on new board members, and begin discussing the selection of a new chairman for the CAD Society.
Also at this meeting, paying members will have a chance to make final nominations for The CAD Society's three Industry Awards � Joe Greco Community, Leadership, and Lifetime � to be awarded at COFES 2005 (www.cofes.com) in April.
* The CAD Society Award for Community (renamed the Joe Greco Community Award) is awarded each year to one individual who has distinguished themselves by improving communication and developing community within the CAD industry.
* The CAD Society Award for Leadership is awarded to an individual in the CAD industry whose outstanding technical and/or business leadership over the past year has significantly contributed to the benefit of CAD community.
* The CAD Society Industry Lifetime Achievement Award is presented for a lifetime of outstanding technical and business contributions to the CAD industry.
