Meet Architectural Design Presentations Author Donald Totter at the ACSA Annual Meeting

Pembroke, NH - February 22, 2005 - Join author Donald Totter as he demonstrates DataCAD projects from his book, Architectural Design Presentations Using DataCAD, at the 93rd ACSA (Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture) Annual Meeting. Mr. Totter will be showcasing his newest textbook in the Tech Ed Concepts (TEC) booth at the ACSA Annual Meeting; Intercontinental Hotel, Chicago, IL; March 3-6, 2005.

Totter's book, Architectural Design Presentations Using DataCAD, provides step-by-step instructions for creating a 3D computer model of a one-story, two bedroom single family vacation home of approximately 1,400 square feet. It also includes instructions for creating from that model line drawings and color renderings for design presentations. ACSA attendees are invited to see hands-on architectural design with DataCAD at the TEC booth and meet the author! Donald Totter earned his BS and MS in Education from Northern Illinois University. He served as a full-time technical drawing teacher at Libertyville High School, Libertyville, Illinois for 33 years. There he developed and taught intro and advanced level courses in Architectural Drawing and Engineering Drawing. In 1983 he introduced CAD drawing to the school. In the years that followed, Don implemented consecutive versions of both CADKEY and DataCAD software into the drawing program. Currently he is retired from teaching and pursuing a second career and an author of CAD textbooks.
