EON Reality, Inc. to launch EON Collaborate for design collaboration using OneSpace.net
FORT COLLINS, Colo., and SINDELFINGEN, Germany - February 7, 2005 - CoCreate Software, Inc., a leading provider of design collaboration and 3D CAD software, today announced that it has entered into a partnership with EON Reality, Inc. Through this agreement, EON Reality will launch the EON Collaborate solution using CoCreate's OneSpace.net collaboration software.
The EON Collaborate solution bundles OneSpace.net and EON Studio software. EON Studio is an authoring tool for developing interactive 3D applications that can be viewed with a small software plug-in. The rich 3D product interactivity from EON Studio combined with the collaboration capabilities of OneSpace.net provide a powerful way of communicating design intent and product ideas across dispersed design teams.
Both EON and CoCreate serve similar manufacturing industries and share a common goal: Reduce complexity of communicating design issues in these markets. With the release of EON Collaborate, customers in electronics, manufacturing, automotive and defense industries can use both strong visualization and collaboration tools for working across inter-company sites, suppliers, and customers.
EON plans to launch the product immediately and will distribute it world wide.
