Code Zebra Releases FlowTools 6 for AutoCAD 2005

SALT LAKE CITY - December 13, 2004 - Code Zebra, Inc. announced the release of FlowTools� 6, the only general-purpose intelligent diagramming application available for AutoCAD�.

Using intelligent symbols and connectors, FlowTools creates any kind of schematic or diagram, such as P&ID's, fire protection systems, wiring harnesses, piping plans and control systems. Users can instantly convert their symbols to intelligent symbols with one click using FlowTools' patented automatic-conversion features.

FlowTools' diagrams use only all-native AutoCAD entities so drawings can be opened and manually edited in any version of AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT, now or in the future.

Double-Line Connectors New to FlowTools 6 are double-line connectors with individually assignable width and corner radii - great for pipe and wire representations. Connector attributes such as size and length can be displayed right on the connector.

Auto Length The length of pipes or wires can now be displayed with the connector or listed in a BOM created using LivingLegend�, Code Zebra's award-winning, legend building AutoCAD plug-in, or with any attribute-extraction tool. Lengths update in real time when connectors are stretched or rerouted.

Auto Wire Labels and Net Lists Symbol connection point names can now be assigned so that complete FROM/TO wire labels can be automatically generated and output as a text file.

New Learning Tools A brand new, animated tutorial allows users to start creating diagrams in just a couple of minutes.
