City of Hamilton and Canadian Forces honored for accomplishments in IT

GTEC WEEK 2004 (http://www.gtecweek.com/) is Canada's distinctive, multifaceted learning and networking event that celebrates public sector IT professionals. The 12th annual ceremony showcased revolutionary proficiency with technology solutions, enhancing online efforts for governments worldwide. The presentation of the awards celebrates the recipients' activities as they relate to collaboration, integration and innovation in their respective geospatial initiatives. - - City of Hamilton was commended for its success with the MAP Hamilton Geographic Information System Web site (www.map.hamilton.ca), which manages e-government within the public sector.
