HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Nov. 2, 2004 - Intergraph <NASDAQ: INGR> Mapping and Geospatial Solutions honored six organizations for exemplary geospatial technology implementations at its second consecutive Canadian Intergraph GeoSpatial Users Community (IGUC) Conference, which took place recently at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre in Ontario, Canada. The event offered customers and prospective customers from across Canada an informative forum into Intergraph solutions with insightful presentations targeting the specific needs of industries, including communications, commercial remote sensing and photogrammetry, location-based services, military and intelligence, national and federal government, state and local government, transportation and utilities. Attendees could also visit the Technical Drop-in Center to see demonstrations of Intergraph's proven technology solutions such as IntelliWhere(R), GeoMedia(R) and G/Technology enterprise integration.

Following the welcome address by Mayor Hazel McCallion of Mississauga and an informative session of presentations by Intergraph representatives, which provided corporate overview and insight into the future direction of Intergraph, the awards ceremony commenced. Geospatial Awards of Excellence were presented to Niagara Falls Hydro for its leadership and vision in the adoption and implementation of geospatial technology into its organization. Whitby Hydro Electric Corporation was also honored for its commitment to incorporate geospatial applications into daily business decision processes. The City of Hamilton was honored with a Geospatial Award of Excellence for its initiative in progressing with geospatial integration in the area of public works while the City of Brampton was commended with an award for its dedication and commitment to implementing a true enterprise geospatial system. In addition, two organizations were honored with a special G/Technology Deployment Award, including Enersource Corporation and Toronto Hydro Corporation. This new award is designed to recognize customers who have successfully completed an upgrade from FRAMME to G/Technology.

The IGUC Conference provided more than 170 business professionals in attendance with a forum to network not only with key Intergraph representatives, but also with Intergraph partners and solutions users. Following the morning's proceedings, Intergraph representatives moderated users presentations during a business/government track and utilities/communications track of presentations.

Geospatial professionals will have another opportunity to gather again at GeoSpatial World, the annual IGUC international training and management conference, to be held April 26-28, 2005, in San Francisco, California. For detailed information on GeoSpatial World 2005, visit www.geospatialworld.com
