CADCIM Technologies Releases Solidworks for Designers Release 2005 by Prof Sham Tickoo

October 14, 2004 --CADCIM Technologies has released the Solidworks for Designers Release 2005 textbook by Prof. Sham Tickoo of Purdue University Calumet. 

Solidworks for Designers Release 2005 textbook is written with the tutorial point of view and learn-by-doing as the theme. About 40 mechanical engineering industry examples are used as tutorials in this textbook and an additional 30 as exercises that enable the user relate the models created in this textbook with the actual mechanical industry designs.

This textbook consists of 784 pages of heavily illustrated text and is divided into13 chapters covering the Part, Assembly, and Drawing modes of Solidworks 2005. Every chapter in this textbook begins with a command section that provides a detailed explanation of the commands and tools in SolidWorks 2005. The command section is followed by tutorials in which the models are created using these commands. This approach allows the user understand commands and related concepts before creating the model.
