HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Sept. 20, 2004 - Intergraph <NASDAQ: INGR> Mapping and Geospatial Solutions, Benelux B.V., today announced a $3 million (U.S.) signed contract with ISC, ICT-Service Cooperation Police, Justice and Safety. Intergraph will spatially enable the geospatial emergency response system for the Netherlands' 26 departments for the police emergency response services, called the Sherpa project.

A European tender procedure was initiated by the Concern Informatiemanagement Politie (CIP), also the owner and initiator of the Sherpa project. After a successful pilot project, ISC signed the contract with Intergraph for the delivery of a new geographic information system (GIS) for the emergency control centers based on Intergraph's GeoMedia(R) and IntelliWhere technology. In addition, Intergraph will provide spatial information management applications for analysis, criminal investigation activities and all other emergency control operations of the Dutch police. All other public order and safety departments, such as fire and ambulance services, can use this new system when information is needed.

"With this contract, Intergraph is pleased to be working with the Dutch Police and in the national market of public order and safety," said Preetha Pulusani, President, Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions. "This project clearly demonstrates the power of spatially enabling an organization's business processes, especially those critical to this emergency response system."

Gerbrand Landman, Board of Director's member for Architecture, Innovation and Development at ISC added, "The new geospatial system for the emergency control centers will advance standardization and integration in the Dutch emergency services environment. The system will contribute to the modernization and efficient improvement in our workflow processes."

About Concern Informatiemanagement Politie

Information management from the police will undergo a change. The Concern Informatiemanagement Politie (CIP) is a partner with the police and will implement a concern information management system. CIP and the 26 police departments will analyze the need for ICT assistance at the Dutch police. The analysis will define the needs of each of the departments for the new national information management solution. All functional requirements identified for the system provide input for ISC, who will develop an ICT solution based on this information.

About ISC

While CIP is identifying the user requirements, ISC is responsible for implementing the agreed requirements for the Dutch Police. ISC was established in 2002 to deliver reliable, suitable and customized ICT solutions to police, the courts and chain partners within the Public Order and Safety sector in the Netherlands. As a result, the current 26 police departments of ICT in their original design will disappear. Many ICT department employees will move to ISC. Other ICT projects of the Dutch Police have already been integrated on an operational level with ISC in the beginning of 2004. In the period between 2002 and 2005, ISC will grow to an organization of around 1100 employees within six regional care environments: Northwest, West, Southeast, Northeast, Mid and South as well as one national organization headquartered in Odijk, the Netherlands.
