BURLINGTON, Mass., June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Z Corporation today announced that the 66.2-percent unit growth in 2003 for its line of 3D printers led all major players in the rapid prototyping (RP) industry, according to the findings of Wohlers Report 2004, an annual detailed analysis of the RP industry.

According to the Wohlers Report, the 3D printer market segment in the RP industry grew from 656 units in 2002 to 1,032 units in 2003, an increase of
57. 3 percent. The report shows that the growth of Z Corp.'s line of 3D printers led the way by jumping from 210 units in 2002 to 349 units in
2003.
