NOVATO, Calif., June 16, 2004 - IMSI (OTC "Bulletin Board": IMSI), a leading developer and publisher of visual content, precision design, and utilities software, today announced the release of CAD Render Studio, a robust 3D rendering and animation package designed for use with CAD applications lacking this functionality.

CAD Render Studio provides photo-realistic rendering, animation, and publishing for most current 3D CAD applications. CAD Render Studio is the perfect add-on to precision design products such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, DesignCAD, and Rhinoceros, which lack these key visualization features. CAD Render Studio includes advanced publishing tools found in other high-end modeling products and CAD programs, as well as tools for 3D model creation and editing, while supporting a wide range of CAD and visualization file formats. With CAD Render Studio, you can easily create or import 3D models and then apply drag-and-drop materials and textures to these models for photo-realistic renderings for both print and the web. CAD Render Studio also allows you to create fly-bys, walk-throughs, and Object VR and Panoramic VR animations. These can then be output to Shockwave 3D, Viewpoint, VRML or QuickTime file formats.

"We're seeing more and more users recognize that the way in which they present engineering data to their clients can give them a competitive advantage in the marketplace," stated Mauritz Botha, Director of Precision Design Product Development for IMSI. "No longer is a simple 3D CAD model acceptable. Clients often have a hard time visualizing the actual implementation of a CAD model. CAD Render Studio gives users the ability to photo realistically render their drawings and present them to their clients to see exactly what these models will look like, even under varied lighting conditions."
