Defense Information Systems Agency Awards $29 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement to DLT Solutions for Red Hat Software 

Linux Software Will Support DoD Enterprise Software Initiative 

HERNDON, Va., June 8 /PRNewswire/ -- DLT Solutions, Inc., a premier government technology solutions partner, announced today that it has been awarded a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) to provide Red Hat Linux open source software to the entire Department of Defense (DoD) in support of the DoD's Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI). The contract value for the BPA is not to exceed $29 million.

The goal of DoD's ESI is to acquire and manage commercially available technology on a DoD-wide basis. DLT Solutions will offer Red Hat Enterprise Linux AE, ES and WS software in addition to maintenance support, training and consulting. The BPA covers five years to include one base year and four one- year options and is open to all DoD components and their direct support contractors, as well as the U.S. Coast Guard and the Intelligence Community.
