Supplier in Global Aerospace & Defense Industry Aims to Strengthen Tier One Position With Leading PLM Solution

NEEDHAM, Mass., May 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PTC (NASDAQ:PMTC), the Product Development Company(TM), announced today that Smiths Aerospace, the leading transatlantic aerospace equipment manufacturer, has successfully deployed PTC Windchill(R) solutions to 900 employees. Smiths Aerospace holds key positions in the supply chains of all major military and civil aircraft and engine manufacturers, producing integrated solutions for aircraft systems, actuators and electronic control systems.

Smiths Aerospace has grown dramatically in recent years through a combination of strategic acquisitions and major program wins.
