Intergraph Demonstrates Geospatial Resource Management Solution for Chinese Gas Market at Gas Expo Shanghai

Intergraph teams with Advantica for localized, integrated solutions based on G/Technology and SynerGEE Gas

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., March 31, 2004 - Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions is demonstrating its Geospatial Resource Management (GRM) environment for the Chinese gas market at Gas Expo Shanghai, March 31 - April 2, in booth A177. Intergraph's next-generation G/Technology software and architecture have been localized for Mainland China. G/Gas and G/Pipeline are geofacilities management solutions based on G/Technology for gas utilities and pipeline companies. During the Expo, Intergraph is conducting a seminar to demonstrate how gas utilities and pipeline companies can manage their assets and resources more efficiently and cost effectively by implementing an integrated GRM environment based on the enabling architecture of G/Technology.

Geospatial Resource Management provides an environment in which pre-integrated solutions streamline a company's day-to-day service-delivery activities. A partnership between Intergraph and Advantica creates an integrated environment for geofacilities management and gas modeling. For example, G/Technology and Advantica's SynerGEE(R) Gas, a gas network modeling and distribution system planning software solution, work together to enable users to build gas analysis models on the fly from geospatial asset information.
