ADT Schedule Enables One-click BOM for Architectural Desktop
Surrey, England - March 2004 - GlobalCAD, the design software company, has announced the release of ADT Schedule 2004, designed to help Architectural Desktop users generate instant one-click schedules and bill of materials. Among its key features are the ability to merge tabled items based on user-defined criteria and powerful new dynamic links between Architectural Desktop and Microsoft Excel. Working with schedules and bill of materials are a critical component of any project. Creating these documents presents many unique challenges. Among them are deciding what to schedule, how to format it and most importantly accurately reporting it and keeping it up-to-date. ADT Schedule can provide the effective and reliable solution to all of these issues. Its feature-rich toolset lets you query drawings for AEC objects and block attribute data and save it to a variety of file formats including Microsoft Excel, Access, CSV and XML. Unique formatting options mean you can pre-set the style for each spreadsheet and export only the data that's critical to your needs. You can also keep Microsoft Excel spreadsheets synchronized with the Dynamic Link option. Simply edit the current workbook and your drawing updates automatically. Alternatively, you can work on spreadsheets remotely and update associated drawings all at the click of a button with the Import feature. GlobalCAD enables design professionals to maximize productivity and performance during the design and drafting process. Architects, engineers and designers around the world turn to GlobalCAD for comprehensive, integrated solutions that help manage and streamline their design activities.
