Océ Partners with Control Systems to Help AEC Firms Turn Expenses into Income

Technology Provides Tracking, Reporting and Recovery of All Large Format Printing, Copying and Scanning Costs

February 24, 2004, Chicago -- Océ (Nasdaq: OCENY), a global leader in digital document management and delivery solutions, today announced a technology partnership with Control Systems, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive expense management products. Under the agreement, Control Systems becomes a member of the Océ Partner Program and will optimize their Copitrak cost recovery software to integrate with Océ TDS large format multifunction print systems, including the recently launched Océ Account Center cost management software.

Designed for use with one or more Océ TDS systems, Océ Account Center enables companies to control access to their system by locking the scanner until appropriate billing information is entered, to track expenditures to specific users, departments and projects and to integrate the data with third party software, like Copitrak, so that costs can be converted into income.

The partnership with Control Systems will provide an end-to-end cost recovery solution for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) firms, as well as the facilities management providers who serve the industry. By combining the award-winning Océ TDS large format multifunction print systems with Control Systems’ cost recovery software, firms will be able to more completely track and recover expenses for their large format printing, scanning and copying services.
