DataViewer Gets a New Name and Dramatic EnhancementsAdelaide, Australia 23 Feb 2004 -- Practical Program releases Dv TDM™ Practical Programs announced today the release of the beta version of Dv TDM™ (DataViewer Total Document Management). “We decided to rename DataViewer to Dv TDM™ as the name more accurately describes the software’s capability. This will also lay the path for the release latter this year of Dv Office, Dv Archive, and Dv Scan.” Dv TDM™ is being released with Web Publishing and a Graphical Workflow engine. We felt these two features were key to successfully providing a Total Document Management Solution. Dv TDM™ includes support for over two hundred document types and can be used with Microsoft SQL Server®, Access, Interbase™ and Oracle®. Dv TDM™ is a unique solution in its ability to manage, not just view emails, office documents and CAD documents. The management includes the ability to locate and repair links to reference files. Email and Office documents can be dragged and dropped into a project allowing Dv TDM™ to index the document's attributes automatically. This includes indexing the actual contents, which are pre-indexed for fast, accurate searching. Dv TDM™ is the eleventh release of Practical Programs' Document Management Solution spanning the last five years. Dv TDM™ is currently distributed in twenty-two countries. About Practical Programs Practical Programs was founded in 1998 in Adelaide, South Australia. Clients of Practical Programs include Oxford University, GE Plastics, Hutchinson Telecom, and the Australian Department of Defence.
