COE Your Way: 2004 Annual Conference & TechniFairApril 25 - 28, 2004, Fontainebleau Hilton Resort, Miami Beach, FloridaFebruary 19, 2004 - The COE Your Way: 2004 Annual Conference is the cornerstone event featuring exclusive opportunities for broad-based education in all Dassault Systemes software products. More than 1,200 industry leaders, developers, users, third-party suppliers, and business partners will gather in Miami Beach to meet and discuss the strategic direction of IBM, Dassault Systemes, and their products, including CATIA Version 5. Celebrating its 20th year, COE has been the only international, professional organization uniting and supporting the users of Dassault Systemes software solutions. With more than 50,000 users in 400 member companies representing the aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, shipbuilding, industrial machinery, electronic, and plant design industries, there is no better support community available. The new COE Annual Conference & TechniFair will be bigger, better, and more exciting than any COE event that has ever been put on before because it has become a once a year opportunity to view key industry experts presenting on the industries hottest topics. Scheduled to appear at this years conference are Jim Grimes, Grimes Industrial Design; James M. Glymph, Frank Gehry & Associates; Scott Hopkins, IBM PLM; Kevin O'Marah, Vice President, Research, AMR Research; Bernard Charles, President and CEO of Dassault Systemes; Bruce Harreld, Senior Vice President, Strategy IBM and many more. These and numerous others will be hosted by renowned journalist John McElroy, Principal and Editorial Director of Blue Sky Productions. The theme for this years' event is "PLM...Enable Collaboration, Empower Innovation." The technical program will feature a tailored mix of training and breakout sessions dedicated to the hottest industry trends, including how to manage a new implementation effort, real-world lessons learned by users who have successfully implemented V5, discussion on issues related to the creation of pilot projects, and the pros and cons of full migration; conversion; or maintaining separate environments.
