VERI-TEK Automates the Engineering Process for Machinery Design with System from FISHER/UNITECH

New Software Platform Transforms the Design Practice of Test and In-Process Verification Machines for Automotive Industry

Wixom and Troy, MI (February 2, 2004) - VERI-TEK, Inc., a manufacturer of product testing and process monitoring machines for engines, axles and drive shafts, announces today the implementation of a new design automation system from FISHER/UNITECH. This automated process will result in a significantly reduced design cycle time, improved quality and greater capacity for the company.

The Automated Machine Design System was acquired through FISHER/UNITECH, an engineering technologies firm based in Troy, Michigan. In addition to greatly improved efficiency, it will provide VERI-TEK, Inc. with the ability to predict design errors prior to release to manufacturing, and offer visualization with animations that can be sent to clients in advance of build.
