GSI Aligns Company Name with Primary Business of Manufacturing Industrial Measurement Systems based on Photogrammetry

Melbourne, FL -- January 20 , 2004 -- Geodetic Services, Inc (GSI), the leading solution provider in the field of close-range photogrammetry, announced today that effective immediately, it will do business under the new name of Geodetic Systems, Inc. The privately-held firm was founded in 1977 and provided photogrammetric measurement services to the world's most prestigious companies and organizations. The company's name change was initiated to align the Company's trading name with its core business of producing high-end photogrammetric measuring systems utilized in diverse industries such as aerospace, automotive, shipbuilding, nuclear, and more.
