AUTOSOLIDS VERSION 3.0 RELEASED
Pace, Florida, July 8, 2003- AutoSolids, Inc.(ASI) today announced the release of Version 3.0 of it's AutoSolids and AutoSolids EXPRESS add-ons for AutoCAD. Both products add parametric 3D solid modeling, advanced visualization, and 3D-to-2D automation tools to AutoCAD and AutoCAD based products. Major new features of Version 3.0 include the QuickCut command which cuts through single or multiple solids with open or closed 2D profiles, and enhancements to RealView, AutoSolids' advanced visualization toolset. With easy-to-use parametric solid modeling tools and the QuickDraw 3D-to-2D automation feature, Version 3.0 of AutoSolids EXPRESS is the fastest way for AutoCAD users to gain the productivity benefits afforded by parametric solid modeling. The standard AutoSolids product includes all of the features from AutoSolids EXPRESS plus adds greater parametric editing capabilities for more complex design tasks. Both products run inside of AutoCAD providing immediate familiarity to AutoCAD users and assuring 100% AutoCAD compatibility at all times. AutoSolids Version 3.0 is currently available for AutoCAD versions 2000/2000i/2002 and their corresponding vertical market products( Mechanical Desktop, AutoCAD Architectural Desktop, etc.). AutoCAD 2004-compatibile versions of AutoSolids are currently in the final testing phase and will be released in the near future.
