Bentley Announces AutoPLANT Release for AutoCAD 2004New Version Demonstrated at Bentley International User Conference; Online Seminar Will Feature Full Compatibility with Latest AutoCAD ReleaseExton, PA June 9, 2003 Bentley Systems, Incorporated, today announced the Bentley AutoPLANT release for AutoCAD 2004. This updated release of the leading process plant design solution on AutoCAD will be available by the end of Q3 2003. AutoPLANT was first demonstrated on AutoCAD 2004 at the Bentley International User Conference in May. It will also be shown during a live, online seminar to be hosted by Bentley and Webcast on June 25. This release underscores Bentleys commitment to be the leading provider of solutions in the plant and process industries for professionals working in either DGN or DWG environments. Monica Schnitger, senior vice president at Daratech, said, "For many years, AutoPLANT has been the revenue-leading process plant design solution for users working in the DWG environment. Bentleys support for AutoCAD 2004 is a testament to the companys ongoing commitment to this user base. This update of AutoPLANT proves Bentley can and will follow through on that commitment." "Bentley worked fast to develop an AutoCAD 2004-compatible version of AutoPLANT, and I applaud them for it," said Karl Christman, CAD Production Manager for Jordan, Jones & Goulding, who viewed the latest AutoPLANT release at the User Conference. "Even though AutoCAD 2004 came with a dramatic change to the DWG format, Bentley unveiled a compatible version within three months. It stresses Bentleys commitment to AutoPLANT and to our success." The Webcast demonstrating AutoPLANT on AutoCAD 2004 will take place Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. EDT. To register, log on to www.bentley.com/plant.
