CAD Software SOURCE Code Now Available from GRAYTECH

WHEATON, ILLINOIS, 19 May 2003 � Carl Gray, Product Manager of GrayTech Software, Inc. announced that GrayTech�s time tested CAD X11� mechanical CAD system can now be purchased in source code form.

Carl Gray, the lead developer of the software said, "Licensees of the CAD X11 source code are authorized to modify the program as they see fit for their company or institution, including sales of derived products to others. The compiled programs can be distributed royalty free. CAD X11 currently runs under Windows 2000, XP, NT 4.0, ME, 98 and 95. Cost of the Source Code is $10,000. This will provide a new opportunity for the users of this CAD package that has been requested from our customers."

CAD X11 is a Mechanical CAD system that is ideally suited for design and manufacturing applications. Standard features of CAD X11^� include 3-D wireframe modeling, surfacing, shading, 2-D drafting with ANSI, ISO and JIS dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, TrueType Font support, undo/redo, dynamic rotations, multiple views, data verification, geometric analysis, crosshatching and layering. Notable I/O formats included for data exchanges are DXF, IGES, Gerber Photo, CGM (binary, ASCII and clear text), PostScript and PDF.

Utility programs included with the CAD X11 source packet include a separate 3D viewer based on Microsoft�s Direct3D library, a separate viewer based on the OpenGL library, a separate drawing viewer and a floating license manager.
