LIZARDTECH SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES VICE PRESIDENT, GEOSPATIAL IMAGING
SEATTLE, May 14, 2003 -- Lizardtech Software announced today the appointment of Karen Morley as Vice President, Geospatial Imaging. Morley will lead the product and market strategy for Lizardtech's geospatial imaging solutions, including software products GeoExpress with MrSID(r) and Lizardtech Express Server. Morley joined Lizardtech in March 2002 and directed the introduction of the company's next-generation GeoExpress with MrSID technology, featuring lossless image compression and localized updating that enables users to add new imagery to existing MrSID mosaics. Morley brings to Lizardtech more than twenty years of experience in the geospatial industry, including key roles in product marketing and strategy at Earth Resources Mapping and Autodesk plus technical roles in remote imagery, database management and photogrammetric engineering.
