Quickparts.com's Instant Quoting Capability within Resinate Material Advisor

ANDOVER, MA, and ATLANTA, GA, April 8, 2003 - Resinate(tm) Corporation, a leader in Automated Materials Management for discrete manufacturers, and Quickparts.com, the leading supplier of rapid prototypes and production parts via QuickQuote(tm), the Online Instant Quoting system, today announced a Strategic Alliance Agreement to offer Quickparts.com's Instant Quoting capability within Resinate's recently introduced ASP service, Resinate Material Advisor (RMA) v4.0.

Under terms of the agreement, Resinate will provide a link to Quickparts.com from within Resinate's RMA v4.0 product. The companies intend to further develop the Strategic Alliance in 2003 by integrating Quickparts.com's Instant Quoting technology within the framework of Resinate's Material Advisor.

According to Brian Schiebel, Vice President of Sales for Resinate, "We saw a great opportunity to provide additional value to our customers by adding Quickparts instant quoting capability. Once our customers have selected the material that is best suited for their parts, the next step would be to learn the cost to manufacture their custom parts."

Resinate's core product, RMA (Resinate Materials Advisor), integrates seamlessly into leading 3D CAD environments including Autodesk Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER and SolidWorks. By automating the material selection process, RMA cuts several days off the typical product development cycle.
