Cadventure Launches Independent Consulting Division Servicing the AEC Market

31^st March 2003 - Cadventure today announced the formation of a new entity - Cadconsultancy to provide integrated training, mentoring, CAD management and cross-platform development consultancy to the AEC sector.

Cadventure has built a reputation over the last 15 years as the value-added reseller and support provider of choice for many world-leading architects and engineering practices. Managing Director, Paul Lewis sees this new division as a natural progression for the parent company.

"Cadconsultancy is responding to a demand from our client base and fills a much needed niche in the construction industry," he states. "Many of our clients have emphasised the value from working with industry experts with relevant professional experience, independent of the software developer."

Several organisations have reached critical mass in terms of the number of CAD seats they require. Cadventure recently announced the addition of CAD guru, consultant and trainer, Lynne Taylor to their ranks. Joining Lynne in the Cadconsultancy division will be Nigel Davies, whose expertise in maximising the efficiencies of 2D and 3D CAD systems has made him an internationally renowned figure in the technology world. He is currently chair of The MicroStation Community in the UK, writes a regular technology "Soapbox" for bentleyuser.org, and is regularly invited to speak as an industry expert on CAD-related topics at both UK and international User Conferences.
