Viewer for New CADKEY Version 21 File Format Now Available for Anyone to Download Free

This is the very first CADKEY Viewer available on the market that enables anyone to view the all-new-architecture files for CADKEY GraphX and CADKEY Workshop V21 as well as Version 20, which has a different file format. The product is an easy, convenient way for both CADKEY users and non-CAD users to view data stored in the new CADKEY ".ckd" file format without the risk of modifying the file in any way. It is ideal for shop floor personnel who need to view a CADKEY part or drawing and measure distances without having to learn or install a full CADKEY software product. Engineering managers can use it to quickly review models or drawings for bidding on jobs. An HTML export tool also enables users to instantly create a web page of their 3D model or 2D drawing for viewing and collaboration with anyone around the world.

The CADKEY V21 Viewer's simple Windows-style interface makes it easy to use by departments outside of engineering, such as manufacturing, sales, marketing, support and service personnel. Users can easily modify the way a 3D model or 2D .ckd file is displayed using standard CADKEY pan, zoom, render and rotate tools for closer examination. For maximum flexibility and speed, users can quickly toggle between all parts, 3D models, and drawing layouts contained in the file as well as open multiple CADKEY partfiles at the same time. The toolbars and shortcut keys can also be custom-configured. Any size or distance on a CADKEY model can be measured, and entity attributes and positions can also be verified. Level mask, views, viewports, and display/hide status of reference parts (assembly) are all user-controllable. The viewer has full support for all CADKEY entity types and text, and information stored in part property pages can also be viewed.

Users can create custom print setup configurations with full control of pen, color, width and dash size handling. In addition, images can be exported into TIFF, Windows Bitmap (BMP), Windows Metafile (WMF), HPGL, HPGL/2, HOOPS(r) Metafile (HMF), HOOPS Stream File (HSF), or an HTML web page. Designs can be printed or plotted to all Windows-supported devices. The 10 MB free downloadable viewer software requires 30 MB hard drive space for installation.
